Hi everybody, I’m Matthew Campbell, and welcome to the 11th episode of the Wedding Songs Podcast. Today I’m going to be talking about 100 great wedding songs that were released in the 1990s. If you have your own list, I’m going to provide these to you in alphabetical order by artists. So let’s go ahead and get started with our first song, “California Love” by Tupac featuring Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre. This hip hop classic was released in 1995. Another hip hop hit released in 1994 is “Tootsee Roll” by 69 Boyz. This is a great group dance song to get people to do a special dance on the dance floor. Next up is AC/DC’s “Thunderstruck” released in 1990. A great classic rock song. Aerosmith’s song “I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing” was released in 1998 and also featured in the movie Armageddon. Our fifth song on the list is “I Swear” by All-For-One.

This song was released in 1994 and is a pop hit and we’ll fill the dance floor with this pop slow song. Next up are two songs by the Backstreet Boys. “Everybody Backstreet’s Back” was released in 1997. “I Want It That Way” was released in 1999. Now I really love “I Want It That Way”. It’s a great sing-along song that you can play during the dancing part of your wedding reception or even during dinner because people will follow along with the lyrics. Barenaked Ladies’ “One Week” was released in 1998 for pop rock music. New Jack Swing made an intro in 1990 with “Poison” by Bell Biv Devoe, It is not for every wedding, but it will definitely fill the dance floor for those New Jack Swing fans. This next song has been thought of as being cheesy throughout the years, but I’m going to tell you if the parents of the wedding couple were in high school during the 1990s, this would definitely be a country hit at your reception. “Achy Breaky Heart” by Billy Ray Cyrus/ Blackstreet’s song “No Diggity” was released in 1996 as an R&B hit. A great rock punk hit is Blink-182’s song “All the Small Things”.

Boys to Men could be on the list several times, but I selected their song “On Bended Knee” released in 1994. Britney Spears’ “Baby One More Time” released in 1998. Our 15th song on the list is a country classic that will have everybody line dancing on the dance floor and that is “Boot Scootin’ Boogie” by Brooks and Dunn released in 1992. Brian Adams is also on the list with fellow stars Rod Stewart and Sting with “All For Love” released in 1993. One of my favorite dance songs of all time is “You Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now)” by C+C Music Factory released in 1990.
