Die with a Smile

(with Bruno Mars), 2024

A slow song you can play during dinner or as a first dance song.

I’d wanna hold you just for a while
And die with a smile
If the world was ending
I’d wanna be next to you

Rain on Me

(with Ariana Grande)
Released in 2020 on the album Chromatica

A fun party song to get everyone dancing from two pop stars.

It’s coming down on me
Teardrops on my face
Water like misery
Let it wash away my sins

Stupid Love

Released in 2020 on the album Chromatica

I don’t need a reason
Not sorry, I want your stupid love

Always Remember Us This Way

Released in 2018 on the album A Star Is Born Soundtrack

When the sun goes down
And the band won’t play
I’ll always remember us this way

Shallow

Released in 2018 on the album A Star Is Born Soundtrack

I’ll never meet the ground
Crash through the surface, where they can’t hurt us
We’re far from the shallow now

The Cure

Released in 2017 on the album The Cure

“The Cure” is one of Gaga’s most recent songs and arguably one of Gaga’s best love songs ever released. In The Cure, she manages to incorporate the feeling of pure vulnerability into a catchy dance track and gives us an upbeat romantic song to party to. Anyone who wants to display their love in style should consider this track for their wedding.

“If I can’t find the cure I’ll fix you with my love. No matter what you know I’ll fix you with my love.”

Gypsy

Released in 2013 on the album Artpop

While it’s not exactly a love song, the track Gypsy from the album Artpop definitely includes great love references and an amazing electronic beat. This song is a story of a man and a woman becoming gypsies together and traveling the world for the rest of their lives. If you don’t have your heart set on perfect lyrics and you just want a great Lady Gaga song, Gypsy will be great for you.

“Thought that I would be alone forever but I won’t be tonight. I’m a man without a home but I think with you I could spend my life and you’ll be my little gypsy princess. Pack your bags and we can change the sunset.”

You and I

Released in 2011 on the album Born This Way

Almost everyone has heard of You and I and for good reason. You and I, from Gaga’s Born This Way album, has so many different musical elements in it that it’s hard to miss. Unlike some of the songs above, this track is very gritty and contains amazing rock and country elements.

If you love great music and only have one spot for a Lady Gaga love song in your wedding, this one is highly recommended. Also, if you want something a little different than the regular track. There are also some great remixes on the Born This Way Remix album.

“There’s something, something about this place. There’s something about lonely nights and my lipstick on your face. There’s something, something about my cool Nebraska guy. Yeah, something about baby you and I.”

Stuck on F*****’ You

Released in 2011

The last of the love songs on this list, Stuck on F*****’ You is a great song for those who want something simple and don’t mind profanity. This song talks about Gaga’s lack of plans and having nothing to do but be stuck on the person she loves. If you like basic guitar chords and heavier lyrics, this is the song for you.

“Got no plans. Got no clothes. Got no piano, ain’t got no shows. No, I’ve got nothing to do but to be stuck on you.”

Starstruck

Released in 2009 on the album The Fame Monster

Although I did say earlier that I had run out of love songs, this one could technically be considered to be a bit of a love track. Starstruck, which is also from The Fame album, talks about being starstruck over a boy at the club and her heart racing when she sees him. If you’re not searching too deep for the love aspect of this song and you just want an awesome dance track, go to Starstruck.

“Baby now that we’re alone got a request. Would you make me number one on your playlist? Put your Dre headphones with the left side on. Wanna scratch it back and forth, back and forth, uh-huh.”

Just Dance

Released in 2008 on the album Just Dance

If you’re not looking for a love song and you just want a catchy dance track to play at your wedding, look no further than Just Dance. Just Dance, the song that launched Gaga into stardom, is extremely upbeat and fun for everyone. In fact, the whole album that Just Dance came from, The Fame, is fairly perfect for wedding needs!

“Just dance, gonna be okay. Dah Dah Doo Doo. Just dance. Spin that record babe. Dah Dah Doo Doo.”

Captivated

Released in 2006 on the album Red and Blue EP

Before she was Lady Gaga, she was Stefani Germanotta. Captivated is one of Gaga’s earlier songs and is perfect for the slow dance portion of any wedding. In Captivated, Gaga confesses her love to another using beautiful lyrics and an even more impressive piano track.

“I love the way you can make me dance from miles away. When I’m with you I’m so sedated. I’m captivated by you.”

Something Crazy

Released in 2006 on the album Red and Blue EP

Another pre-Gaga song from the album Red and Blue, Something Crazy has a heavier rock/alternative feel while still managing to be a great love track. For those who want a little more rock in their wedding but who still want a song that shows how much you love your significant other, Something Crazy is a great choice.

“It always brings me down when you’re not around. I still need you. You do something for me baby and I cannot control it, baby.”

I hope that these songs are exactly what you’re looking for and make your wedding a spectacular one. If you think another song should be added to the list, be sure to comment below as we read and respond to all comments.
