A wedding couple may want to have a special dance for the groom and his stepmom. A stepmom and stepson dance does arise when the groom’s mother has passed away and his dad has a new girlfriend or wife. The stepmom may have filled the shoes of the son’s biological mother too.

Quick Tips

Select a song that fits your relationship. If you are dancing consider:

1. The tempo of the song – do you want a fun uptempo song or slow dance?
2. The length of the song – a DJ can mix a shorter version if you don’t wish to dance the complete three to four minutes.
3. If there is a special song that makes each of you think of the other, play that song for special meaning! Everyone will “get it” who knows you?
