A Wedding Date, Just How Important?

Wedding Dates How Important

How important is a wedding date to get married on?  Well, think about the date of December 13th, 2014. It doesn’t look like much all spelled out. However, when you see the sequential numbers, you know why thousands of weddings took place on the wedding date 12-13-14.

If you want to get married in sequential numbers, you will have to wait until January 2nd, 2103. That’s quite a few years from now! You and I won’t be around to see those dates. However, a more reasonable date to obtain is to wait to get married on January 2nd, 2034, which would make your wedding date 1-2-34. That’s coming up quickly so plan ahead!

Why do you think so many people want memorable wedding dates? We think that couples can actually remember their wedding dates. A common misnomer is that men cannot remember their anniversaries. If grooms have an unforgettable wedding date, they should never forget future anniversaries!

So what’s in a number?  What dates stand out numerically?

Here are a few reasons to help you remember your wedding dates:

  • Leap years on February 29th
  • Palindromes – when the numbers go forwards and backward
  • Math equations – (11 + 5 = 16) and (5 + 12 = 17)
  • Sequential numbers
  • Even and odd number combinations
  • Special holidays such as Christmas, April Fools, Friday the 13th and so many more.
  • Number repeats such as 2-2-20, 10-10-20 and 2-21-21

Numbers are very popular in gambling also. Numbers can be used in Keno games, roulette wheels, horse racing, and also lottery picks. Typically, people are very superstitious as to when they get marries as they do not want to affect their mojo (as in their winning numbers). This is also why we left off out list the date June 6, 2006.

So what do special dates mean to wedding vendors across the country? Well, we can speak for the Las Vegas area. According to Clark County statistics – See interesting facts about previous wedding date marriage license statistics:
