How could you leave out “Gold”, by John Stewart? This 1979 hit from his album Bombs Away Dream Babies reached #5 on the charts and featured Stevie Nicks (background vocals) and Lindsey Buckingham (guitar). It’s a hidden gem from the 70’s that still gets considerable air play today.
