Welcome to the 83rd episode of the Wedding Songs Podcast. I am Matthew Campbell and today I am going to be giving you a few Country Entrance songs to play as you enter the reception hall. Now this could be the wedding couple, the parents of the wedding couple, the bridesmaids or groomsmen, or whomever it may be. I am going to be covering fun songs, and a few classy songs as well. So, stay tuned for Country wedding songs If you prefer to read the list or listen to the list, you can do so on our website MyWeddingSongs.com. While you are there make sure to sign up for our monthly newsletter (called the Newsletter). In it, we tell you about all the new songs released in the prior month and also great trending songs you can play on your wedding day.

Let’s go ahead and get started with the first song on the list. Released in 2020, this is a great fun line dance song but you can also have it as your first dance song as well. Also known as the Applebee’s song, “Fancy Like” by Walker Hayes. Next, I have Nelly and Florida Georgia Line with their party song “Lil Bit”. It is a great fun song you can play as you enter the reception hall. Just for a mixture of EDM and Country combined, we have “Dance With Me” by Diplo, featuring Thomas Rhett & Young Thug. Lyrics include…Dance with me, dance with me. Play that song, like baby, one, two, three. Come here close and gimme your body. This may be one that you save for the wedding couple. In 2020, “Good Times Roll” by Kimmie Allen and Nelly with the lyrics…Yeah, crank that truck up, load it up, With a few folks in my four-by-four, Seat way back, cold six-pack, Window cracked, I got the good fire rollin’. This is a fun party song to get things started. Just for summer weddings (but you don’t have to wait for a summer wedding to use this if you don’t want to) is “Beers and Sunshine” by Darius Rucker. It is a party song with lyrics…Flying high like we’ll never come down, We’re gonna roll until we run out of, Beers and sunshine, Bonfires and summertime.

If you are looking for a slower song, then one of the most popular modern Country songs is “Forever After All” by Luke Combs. Lyrics include…They say nothing lasts forever, But they ain’t seen us together, Or the way the moonlight dances in your eyes. Just to get the party started, “Fire’t Up” by Brantley Gilbert in 2019. Lyrics include…We gon’ tear the night up, Got ‘shine in the masons, Good times in the making, Baby, crank it, Fire’t up. Another line dance song you can play as an entrance song is “Old Town Road (Remix)” by Lil Nas X featuring Billy Ray Cyrus. For a mid-tempo song, Lady A with “You Look Good”. Just for the wedding couple, next up, 2016, is “She’s With Me” by High Valley with the lyrics…Whoa-oh, I don’t know what I’d do without her, Whoa-oh, she’s gotta know I’m all about her, She’s amazing, amazing, Ain’t she amazing? Another song to get everyone fired-up is “Flatliner” by Cole Swindell and Dierks Bentley. Lyrics include…She’s a little heart-stopper, I’m talkin’ breaker-breaker one-niner, She’s a flatliner, oh she’s a flatliner. Another one for the wedding couple is “A Guy With A Girl” by Blake Shelton released in 2016. Lyrics…Wonderin’ how I ever got your little hand in mine, Lookin’ over at ya like, “Ain’t she beautiful?”, I’m invisible, but I stand right there and smile.

A mid-tempo choice would be “Head Over Boots” by Jon Pardi, in 2016, with the lyrics…You’re the rock in my roll, You’re good for my soul, it’s true, I’m head over boots for you. A song a little bit on the slower side, but will really set the mood, is “Setting the World on Fire” by Kenny Chesney featuring P!nk. A fun song in 2016 is “I Love This Life” by LOCASH with the lyrics…I love my small-town world, I love a country girl, I love a Friday night, Man I love this life. This next song is typically used for the dancing part of the reception but it can definitely be used as an entrance song. It is “House Party” by Sam Hunt in 2014. “I Want Crazy” by Hunter Hayes in 2013. “This Is How We Roll” by Florida Georgia Line featuring Luke Bryan, for that bro-country party song with the lyrics…This is how we roll, We hanging ’round singing out everything on the radio, We light it up with our hands up, This is how we roll. A great group Country song you can play, from 2010, is “Little White Church” by Little Big Town with the lyrics…No more calling me baby, No more loving like crazy, Till you take me down, You better take me down, Take me down to the little white church. This can be used not only for the wedding couple but it can also be used for the wedding party as well.

A fun song for the wedding couple is “Stuck Like Glue” by Sugarland with…I’m stuck on you, Whoa-oh, whoa-oh, Stuck like glue, You and me baby, We’re stuck like glue. Another bro-party song is “My Kind Of Party” by Jason Aldean released in 2010. “Good Time” by Alan Jackson is an older song with the lyrics…I’ve been working all week, And I’m tired and I don’t want to sleep, And I want to have fun, It’s time for a good time. In 2006, to get everybody fired up is “Swing” by Trace Adkins. It is one of those songs that will really have everybody yelling and screaming and wanting to bring out the wedding party. Even though the next song was featured in the animated movie Cars, in 2006 “Life Is A Highway” by Rascal Flatts is a great way to introduce the wedding party to the reception.

“Here For The Party” (of course that is what we are here for) by Gretchen Wilson with the lyrics…You know I’m here for the party, And I ain’t leaving till they throw me out, Gonna have a little fun gonna get me some. Just for Tim McGraw fans, one of the first songs he released, “I Like It, I Love It” was released in 1995. And finally, the last song on the list, released in 1993, is by one of the greatest artists of all time Garth Brooks with his song “Ain’t Going Down (Till The Sun Comes Up)”. It is a great way to get the party started.
