My Wedding Songs 2017 Year In Review Insights
We are always amazed when another year has passed. Yes, we say that every year. However, 2017 has been a year of change for My Wedding Songs. In January 2017, we officially changed our name from WeddingMuseum.com to My Wedding Songs. It was one of the best decisions ever made for our company. Too bad it took 13.5 years to make.
Why was it such a good decision? In 2016, our unique visitors topped 1.4 million. In 2017, we topped 2.3 million unique visitors.
Our visitors are still being dominated by women with 71%.
Now that you know most women visit our website, just how old are our visitors? 40% are 25-34 and 22% are 18-24.
Most of our visitors continue to be from the United States at 65%, with India at #2 and UK #3.
But, where are our visitors coming from in the United States? See chart below as our top states are darker in color. The highest visiting U.S. States are California, New York and Texas.
Another KPI (Key Performance Indicator) we track is the number of keyword phrases ranked for in search results – according to SemRush.com. In 14.5 years online, we are approaching 100,000 keyword phrases. Unbelievable.
Our content publishing continued with a new blog post each Sunday. Hopefully, we can increase content creation in 2018. However, our most popular blogs of 2017…
We closed out 2017 in December with a release of our All-In-One Wedding Playlists in multiple Genres – Rock, R&B, Pop, Country and Mix of all. The playlists include every song needed for an up-to 6-hour wedding ceremony and reception.
