The Eagles are considered one of the greatest rock bands of all-time. We are not the only ones that think so too. The Eagles were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998.
The Eagles started in 1971 and played together until 1980. The band then decided to take a break. A long break. The hiatus was for fourteen years. The Eagles reformed in 1994 and still play together today. Their 2014 tour is called The History of the Eagles and play songs from the beginning, through the Hell Freezes Over Album and also some of Joe Walsh’s legendary hits.

Best Eagles Songs
10. Love Will Keep Us Alive – The Eagles
Released in 1994
On Album: Hell Freezes Over
The Eagles had many hits over the decades. This is the newest song but thought it deserved to be on this list as it brought the next generations into the love of Eagles music.
1. I Can’t Tell You Why – The Eagles
Released in 1980
On Album: The Long Run
We rank this song not only for the mass popularity but for what it means to the band. Timothy B. Schmit joined the band and the band wanted Timothy to be the lead singer on a song. This is that song that promoted Timothy as an Eagles band member and a music star.
