Van Halen is an American rock band formed in 1972. All Van Halen fans know there is the David Lee Roth Era and the Sammy Hagar Era.
Therefore, we created two top 10 Van Halen song lists – one for each era. The rest of the band consisted of guitarist Eddie Van Halen, drummer Alex Van Halen, and bassist Michael Anthony.

Van Halen was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2007. Van Halen only had one number one hit on the Billboard Hot 100 – Jump. According to the RIAA, Van Halen is the 19th-best-selling band/artist in U.S. history.
