U2 is originally from Dublin, Ireland. The band formed in 1976 and consists of:

  • Bono – vocals, guitar
  • The Edge – guitar, keyboards, and vocals
  • Adam Clayton – bass guitar
  • Larry Mullen, Jr. – drums and percussion. 

However, their first album, Boy, was not released until 1980.

U2 is known for its on-stage concert tours including stadium tours: Zoo TV Tour, U2 360 Degree Tour, and Popmart Tour.
